After 3 played minutes Boreham Wood FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Kaznocha. After 4 minutes, Primitivo Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Boreham Wood FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Boreham Wood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Komanski to maneuver through the defense. When Alan Campos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Alan Campos a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. The audience was convinced that Karol Sitko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wlodzimierz Kilarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Tytus Juroszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Karol Sitko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Wlodzimierz Kilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Sitko in the 33rd minute of play. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Wlodzimierz Kilarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. In the 46th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wlodzimierz Kilarski came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. But to his dismay, Hector Covarrubias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Karol Sitko made the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Kilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Karol Komanski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boreham Wood FC and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Boreham Wood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Komanski to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wlodzimierz Kilarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karol Sitko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karol Sitko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Damian Niedziela made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Karol Sitko immediately put the ball in play. Gilbert Sakowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Wlodzimierz Kilarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. After a rather tough play, Boreham Wood FC's Karol Sitko got a free kick in the 98th minute.
