Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Boruc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Boruc, 2-2. Zula Misiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute. Markowy Team's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Markowy Team from getting a goal against them. After the first half Markowy Team were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Axel Montenegro sped through Markowy Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Boruc. Tomasz Wietrzychowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 56th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Boruc having to make a save. Markowy Team's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of play forced Markowy Team's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Abram Secada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mai Jian Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markowy Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Mai Jian Xi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Markowy Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colombia.
