Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Atletico Lula's Bar Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atletico Lula's Lukáč Jančich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 26th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukáč Jančich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukáč Jančich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Moises Tafalla took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lukáč Jančich. Lukáč Jančich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Mateo Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Atletico Lula's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Lukáč Jančich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukáč Jančich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 69th minute of the match. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
