Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romeu De Sousa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Romeu De Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Milfontes United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romeu De Sousa quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 45th minute of play forced Milfontes United's goalkeeper Romeu De Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeu De Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of the match.
