Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeo Silvino started the match with the kick off. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Visser's Romeo Silvino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th minute Visser were awarded a corner. Lisandro Oinaz went to the cornerflag to take it. Filomeno Cordearo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Angelino Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Visser's Filomeno Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 13th minute of play forced Visser's goalkeeper Natalio Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Gaueko in the 18th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Visser getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Orlando Cisco hit a great ball. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Natalio Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Claris in the 25th minute. Romeo Silvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Visser's Natalio Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Natalio Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th match minute, Visser was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Francis to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Natalio Petrigai but with some difficulty. A hard shot 56 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Natalio Petrigai managed to make a qualified save. Visser's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, Visser's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Natalio Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Escribano in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Petrigai saved Visser from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. In the 63rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Romeo Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Visser fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Silvino couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Cordearo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Cisco made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Romeo Silvino immediately put the ball in play. If Romeo Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ambrosio Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Visser booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Natalio Petrigai in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Natalio Petrigai firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Dimas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
