Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Alfredo Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Denis Ur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Gonchan saved Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting behind. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 21st minute of play. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nemesio Gonchan got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Lander came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Damaso Nataniel got a free kick in the 45th minute. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Gonchan came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Pelagius hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marcelino Constancio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Nemesio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 66th minute of the match. Remigio Katia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 85 minutes into the game, Paolo Maureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Panama fully deserved thier win.
