Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bart Basson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Basson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vamo A Calmarno's Maurício Romero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play forced Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Bart Basson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Flavio Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With 16 minutes on the clock, Efraim Gilabert commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! Peru:s Rolando Noboa showed great skill when he stopped Flavio Fernandes:s penalty. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Fernandes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Flavio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Basson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of play forced Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Bart Basson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Bart Basson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Reyes in the 39th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Vamo A Calmarno got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Panfilo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Basson having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Flavio Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vamo A Calmarno's Bart Basson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Vamo A Calmarno from getting a goal against them. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maurício Romero in the 70 minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, Vamo A Calmarno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doyle Quenneville to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Bart Basson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Rainerio in the 91st minute of play. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but Vamo A Calmarno were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
