Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armando Toninelli kicked off to start the match. Emilio Spada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of the match. Fabio Domina did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 5 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada. Emilio Spada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Spada saved Martesana Inter from getting behind. Felix Montenegro scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Spada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. Felix Montenegro scored 1-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Spada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Pinti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martesana Inter's goalie prevented a goal. Emilio Spada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Spada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Martesana Inter made a substitution. Biagio Mandara replaced Jorge Olmos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Pinti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 64th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Domina in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Fabio Domina put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. After a rather tough play, Martesana Inter's Fabio Domina got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Spada stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 2-5 to the left of him in the 80 minute. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Domina came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Spada having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Domina in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Martesana Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Altobelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
