Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Denis Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paolo Maureo got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Nemesio Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 8th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes, Bernabe Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletas Campesinos F.C. and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bernabe Barros hit a great ball. Nemesio Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelino Constancio was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 17th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nemesio Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Roderigo. In the 30thth minute of the game Jaime Cazalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nemesio Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Ur in the 51st minute of play. Bernabe Barros made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Horacio Lander immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Nemesio Gonchan in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nemesio Gonchan made a huge save. In the 67th minute Denis Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. In the 69th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Camilo Franco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nemesio Gonchan, 0-1. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Nemesio Gonchan made a huge save. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Horacio Lander got a free kick in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nemesio Gonchan. That made the score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. Uruguay played a much better game than Atletas Campesinos F.C. and deserved their victory. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
