Milagros Fraga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Luz Tejedor managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maurício Romero in the 10 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Fernandes in the 13th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Maurício Romero in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Bart Basson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Maurício Romero made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Anthony Alvarado made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Gayoso immediately put the ball in play. 26 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Bart Basson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maurício Romero, made in the 27th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart Basson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 35th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Vamo A Calmarno got a freekick which was hit by Doyle Quenneville. The crowd rose to their feet as Vamo A Calmarno's Flavio Fernandes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bart Basson. Luz Tejedor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Bart Basson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Alonso Berganza charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonso Berganza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vamo A Calmarno's Silvio Dalmai. Vamo A Calmarno's Justino Rainerio was substituted for Flavio Fernandes. Alessandro Cannata kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Bart Basson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Bart Basson in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Bart Basson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 95 played minutes Vamo A Calmarno got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Dalmai. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
