Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Concetto Bani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Aloisi in the 9th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes, Francisco Seco made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Calenzano's Concetto Bani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Landolfi to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Calenzano defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Concetto Bani. The Calenzano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Concetto Bani should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Bani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Concetto Bani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Bani having to interfere. Jaime Cazalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Bani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Cazalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Concetto Bani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Jaime Cazalla made a precise shot to the right of Concetto Bani. Calenzano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Concetto Bani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 46th minute, Alvaro Aloisi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Aloisi made a kick off. Jaime Cazalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Aloisi in the 54th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Traini in the 57th minute of play. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Gizzi, made in the 64th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Concetto Bani. That made the score 0-6 after 72 minutes of play. In the 82nd minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Fulvio Mascia hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Concetto Bani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Calenzano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
