Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Gizzi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano. After having played for 18 minutes, Amos Walcher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calenzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Walcher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Amos Walcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Concetto Bani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Bani. Concetto Bani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Concetto Bani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Aloisi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Mascia to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Concetto Bani made a huge save. With a little luck, Calenzano's Concetto Bani got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Antonio Gizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Concetto Bani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Bani having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
