When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ernesto Minichiello put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Comunardo Quadrini hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After 71 minutes of play, Honduras's Moises Tafalla made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Armando Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Polidori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Esteban Carvallo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XMAS's Armando Polidori did a great save. After 94 minutes, Ernesto Minichiello made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
