Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Kosowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kazimierz Kosowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kazimierz Kosowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Ziemowit Slazak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Konrad Poniewaz made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 45th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Konrad Poniewaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Konrad Poniewaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Ziemowit Slazak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KOLIBER OCYPEL and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KOLIBER OCYPEL getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ziemowit Slazak hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save KOLIBER OCYPEL from getting a goal against them. In the 61stth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KOLIBER OCYPEL made a substitution. Damian Pachucki replaced Konrad Poniewaz. After 72 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kazimierz Kosowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Frenzel in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, KOLIBER OCYPEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Radziszewski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KOLIBER OCYPEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Kieca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Kosowski made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KOLIBER OCYPEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Pachucki didn't get a good kick on the ball.
