In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Mateo Leguizamo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Reed was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Simon Reed got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abram Luque struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Simon Reed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador.

The wind increased when Jonas Wiseman made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Simon Reed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jermaine Corey during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jermaine Corey to maneuver through the defense. Simon Reed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 69th minute of play. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Brendan McGinnis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Magrina, made in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the El Salvador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
