Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Martin Švácha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Clemente Tuñon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Clemente Tuñon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Squella, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Henry Tucknott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urtsín Aceiton made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clemente Tuñon. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 35 minutes into the match, Jorge Vicente Squella dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Vicente Squella in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. General Velásquez were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Johans took the corner. Anselmo Johans made a great header on General Velásquez's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Vicente Squella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes, General Velásquez's Anselmo Johans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in General Velásquez reached it. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Henry Tucknott made a huge save. In the 84th minute Clemente Tuñon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Vicente Squella came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. General Velásquez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
