Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Pierres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guanacos's Danilo Sanchez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Moises Gayoso in the 4 minute of the game. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Marcelo Mendebal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Ekaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 25th minute of play. Sebastian Pinto's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sebastian Pinto hit a great ball. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Orlandus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Angelino Clemencin sent off a good shot on target. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Peru booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Paulo Pierres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcial Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guanacos's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Orlandus came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marcial Orlandus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Orlandus. Marcial Orlandus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
