Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Enrique Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Enrique Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Theobald in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlitos Parodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Vall in the 13th minute of the match. Carlitos Parodi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Matthias Vall took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
