Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Martelli. Donato Balestra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Tedeschi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Tedeschi in the 12th minute of play. When Alfred Olsson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Calenzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Olsson couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Daniele. In the 21st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Balestra was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Calenzano booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calenzano's Antonello Di Toma shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. 31 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Alfred Olsson scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Ennio Daniele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calenzano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Felix Montes fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Calenzano's Donato Balestra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play. Achille Sciamanna hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Olsson to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Federico Tedeschi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calenzano's Donato Balestra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Calenzano from getting a goal against them. Donato Balestra was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Calenzano's Yaniusky Pardo was substituted for Alessio Santini. Donato Balestra made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. If Arturo Di Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Di Matteo in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Matteo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Donato Balestra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Donato Balestra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Donato Balestra made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Arturo Di Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 92nd minute, Arturo Di Matteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Di Matteo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The Calenzano support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
