Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Fecha Libre from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Teo Mouricio made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fecha Libre's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
