The Glorious FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fang Hao Jing took the corner. The Glorious FC's Fang Hao Jing was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pauli Pogba in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Patrick Cane hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Diogo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Fang Hao Jing made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Glorious FC the free kick. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Feliks Škarpa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Glorious FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Glorious FC had won after a very even match.
