Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Kris Wisanggeni. But to his dismay, Kris Wisanggeni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Victor Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Real Brasília FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kris Wisanggeni hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Kris Wisanggeni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Wisanggeni to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play. Victor Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 55th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelio Lukaku in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Kris Wisanggeni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Real Brasília FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. Pierrot Uyttebroeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Romelio Lukaku scored 3-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Victor Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Wisanggeni in the 80th minute of play. Victor Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Real Brasília FC - DMZ booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Victor Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Carneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 93rd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Real Brasília FC - DMZ were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
