Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom Hermansson was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Teodosio Iigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 93rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antonio Tenorio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo did a great save. 94 minutes into the match, Eliseo Alcocer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodosio Iigo, 1-9.
