BlacK & BlueS's Matías Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Samuel Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes, Hílton Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BlacK & BlueS and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BlacK & BlueS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play forced BlacK & BlueS's goalkeeper Matías Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Tostão Céleste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matías Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Rodrigues in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind BlacK & BlueS's goalkeeper Matías Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matías Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Domingues saved BlacK & BlueS from getting behind. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matías Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. A hard shot 93 in the game by Ignacio Mastache from a close distance when the talented Matías Domingues managed to make a qualified save. BlacK & BlueS's players were relieved. After 96 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
