Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MUSHIBA FC's Osvaldo Vergílio. Osvaldo Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's Rafa Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafa Alves who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Alves in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's Rafa Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match MUSHIBA FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafa Alves ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rafa Alves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Osvaldo Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Amadeo Walme hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafa Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. MUSHIBA FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafa Alves took the corner. In the 43rd minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. Osvaldo Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Rafa Alves:s penalty. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Rafa Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Rafa Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, MUSHIBA FC's Osvaldo Vergílio got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Deivid Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 71st minute. Rafa Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Vergílio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MUSHIBA FC's 郭俊景 got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Rafa Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
