Joel Cristofor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Joel Cristofor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Skytt made a kick off. When Luis Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Joel Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riki Čapo in the 68th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, NECKER49's Joel Cristofor got control of the ball when Santino Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 75th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Cristofor. That made the score 3-3 in the 85 minute of play. NECKER49 made a substitution. Isidoro Fagondo replaced Silvano Casanova. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
