Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Furman having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiano Disselkoen in the 20th minute of play. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes Equipo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Bruno Beugnet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Santino Seco notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Equipo's Ismael Furman. Ismael Furman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Equipo's Bruno Beugnet got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Equipo's Teofil Chrzan was substituted for Bruno Beugnet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofil Chrzan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Papachronopoulos in the 58th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Unai Papachronopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Unai Papachronopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Equipo made a substitution. Harun Elçin replaced Emiliano Lluterio. The supporters of Colombia booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 73 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Furman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yavuz Selimhan İğdemir, made in the 87th minute of the game. A hard shot 89 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Ismael Furman managed to make a qualified save. Equipo's players were relieved. In the 96th minute, Santino Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4.
