Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Emil Scobioalã succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emil Scobioalã 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Dragos Burduja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Emil Scobioalã dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Musteatã in the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emil Scobioalã's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eugen Doroftei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eugen Doroftei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandu Musteatã struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Puturoasa. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Scobioalã made a kick off. After 56 minutes of play, UFC Puturoasa's Tadeusz Pracki made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Puturoasa the free kick. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Scobioalã came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Griceanu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Scobioalã in the 65th minute of play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Scobioalã in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Emil Scobioalã notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. UFC Puturoasa made a substitution. Alphonso Davies replaced Vladimir Griceanu. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alphonso Davies in the 83 minute of the game. Carlos Alberto Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Alberto Salgado quite easily take care of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Scobioalã came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UFC Puturoasa had played much better football throughout.
