In the 21st minute André Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachary Bugno made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute of play forced Alvara's goalkeeper Zachary Bugno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nesho Karadakov. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Alvara's Nesho Karadakov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Alvara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Alvara were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
