Kyle Davies got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Betão de Moraes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Fontes during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 20 de Março FC's Betão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 13th minute of play. Rafinha Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. When Stanley Wallace fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Stanley Wallace a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Stanley Wallace. After 22 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Graham. 28 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Betão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Curacao fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Curacao's Stanley Wallace looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 20 de Março FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curacao were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Kyle Davies's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão de Moraes was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Betão de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Troy Kennedy sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Fontes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Stanley Wallace received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão de Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanley Wallace slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 56th minute. 20 de Março FC's Betão de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save 20 de Março FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, 20 de Março FC's Betão de Moraes got control of the ball when Stanley Wallace tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rocco Owen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betão de Moraes. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Betão de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. With an all-out effort, Curacao's Betão de Moraes threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marshall Graham, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes into the match, Curacao's Stanley Wallace sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betão de Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
