The referee showed Hipolito Cristos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Pegale De Puntín's Alejo Gonsalvo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alejo Gonsalvo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pegale De Puntín protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alejo Gonsalvo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 63 minutes into the game, one of Pegale De Puntín:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pegale De Puntín's Ball Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Prudencio Fernado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pegale De Puntín's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
