Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Edoardo Galeone got a free kick in the 8th minute. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute really tested Cristiano Granata's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Rodrigue Léonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Palmisano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gani Pamirhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Palmisano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigue Léonard, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Dino Palmisano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. 37 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristiano Granata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Despite this Cristiano Granata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Cristiano Granata skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cristiano Granata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The supporters of Mexico booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gandalf Stanković didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Palmisano was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of A.S. Ian Fenomeni booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Galeone in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gani Pamirhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gani Pamirhan in the 59th minute of play. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Cristiano Granata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 69th minute of play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Dino Palmisano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Granata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 74th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cristiano Granata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Granata having to interfere. Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
