The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Tejedor helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Ferman might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Ferman ran back to his position shaking his head. Gloria Bistrita's Paul Miclescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Gloria Bistrita from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Tudose might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Tudose ran back to his position shaking his head. After 25 played minutes Gloria Bistrita got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Voina. Emil Tøsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Gloria Bistrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Tudose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corneliu Bodnar made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Damian Piechocki immediately put the ball in play. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Miclescu having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Marian Poremba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogdan Tudose got free with Camilo Freixa in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Miclescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bogdan Tudose sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Ferman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Tøsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gloria Bistrita supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gloria Bistrita would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
