Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Armin Trivelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. PomeziaRamblers's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Trivelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PomeziaRamblers's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the game, PomeziaRamblers's Flavio Paris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th minute Armin Trivelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Domenico Bertolini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. After 41 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the PomeziaRamblers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Bertolini was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 53rd minute of play. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Bertolini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Axel Tasis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 66th minute of play. Domenico Bertolini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domenico Bertolini was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 83 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Armin Trivelli. In the 89th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Bertolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
