Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitor Senqui in the 17th minute. Piotr Ikalewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Piotr Ikalewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Endorfina Dukla were awarded a corner. Lenny Bye went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Endorfina Dukla's corner Lenny Bye fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Vitor Senqui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piotr Ikalewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitor Senqui in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Endorfina Dukla's Jan Gotfryd got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Piotr Ikalewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The Endorfina Dukla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

In the 59thth minute of the game Vitor Senqui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Petrasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Lenny Bye, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 71 minutes, Jurand Solibieda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Endorfina Dukla and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jurand Solibieda hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piotr Ikalewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Piotr Ikalewicz made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Endorfina Dukla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luis Andino got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 78 minutes into the match. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Lenny Bye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Endorfina Dukla throughout the match.
