Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Erik Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Alfredo Mon got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alfredo Mon hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Pihlblad having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Pihlblad came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvarez Håland in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Alfredo Mon was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Eloy Rafe got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Pihlblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Erik Pihlblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilydd Gonzalez in the 63rd minute of play. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Andres Guerau got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Alvarez Håland. In the 78th match minute, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Guerau to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Pihlblad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvarez Håland to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erik Pihlblad. The goal made the score 0-1. The Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
