USA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Turgut Soyuer 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Cassius Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Jarbas Quadros. PREZULO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Albano Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 14th minute. Turgut Soyuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Turgut Soyuer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut Soyuer's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Turgut Soyuer struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. In the 25th minute, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes PREZULO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Cassius Byrne fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarbas Quadros quite easily take care of the ball. After 40 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ana Cristina. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgut Soyuer to make the kick off. Cassius Byrne came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jarbas Quadros could save by the left post. The nice shot from Cassius Byrne in the 52ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jarbas Quadros had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jarbas Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 53rd minute of the match. Turgut Soyuer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Jarbas Quadros in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Turgut Soyuer came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the PREZULO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Soyuer couldn't finish the play. PREZULO FC's He Xiao was substituted for Jonathan Otto. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira was substituted for Turgut Soyuer. In the 76th minute Betão de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Jarbas Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão de Brito in the 81st minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão de Brito in the 83rd minute of the match. Betão de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 91st minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The PREZULO FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
