Cipriano Abreu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Hamílton das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jaques Fierro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a little luck, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Cipriano Abreu got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casper Granqvist in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Cipriano Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Abreu was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Cassius Byrne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cassius Byrne really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Cipriano Abreu made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Casper Granqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apostolikas Romanos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Battal Cüneyt Türe was substituted for Hamílton das Neves. Giuseppe Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Romero in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Battal Cüneyt Türe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Casper Granqvist. But to his dismay, Casper Granqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, USA's Jacob May sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Khalid Parry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Abreu having to interfere. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over USA's much stronger midfield.
