Zé Paulo Sá's late challenge caught a Curacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Sá helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curacao booed when Iron Maiden Football OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match, Luisinho Vergílio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 38 minutes of play, Iron Maiden Football OFF's Luisinho Vergílio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Maurinho Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurinho Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Diego Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Maiden Football OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisinho Vergílio took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Maurinho Neves took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Davies in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagoberto Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Marshall Graham got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto de Lara in the 84th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Vander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Davies went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Dagoberto Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanley Wallace in the 93rd minute. Dagoberto Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
