Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador were furious when Antonio Arias was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! 11 minutes into the game, Juan Sebastián Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ✪ XV de Umarizal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anderson Passos was slow to take the kick. During this time ✪ XV de Umarizal's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anderson Passos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Domingo Bulnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 20 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson Passos who took care of the corner kick. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Anderson Passos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Domingo Bulnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano van Beek might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano van Beek ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriano van Beek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 32nd minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ✪ XV de Umarizal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano van Beek in the 39th minute. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano van Beek to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Bulnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Adriano van Beek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Adriano van Beek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Bulnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Adriano van Beek made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Damian Ostrowski was substituted for Allan Winström. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Domingo Bulnes in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano van Beek in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano van Beek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Adriano van Beek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Adriano van Beek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Luiz Fabiano Amorim replaced Bai Yan Yong. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ✪ XV de Umarizal were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
