Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Nueva Lepra FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Martino took the corner. The corner ended in Jorge Martino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Gerson Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nueva Lepra FC's Leonardo Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Arce got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Hibai came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nueva Lepra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Martino in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Nueva Lepra FC's corner Eloy Dominic fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Nueva Lepra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Leonardo Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Tancredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gerson Arce struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Lepra FC. When Ladislao Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Nueva Lepra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Hibai couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Hibai to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Tancredo made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Arce in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Nueva Lepra FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Martino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ladislao Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th match minute, Nueva Lepra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Beti to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Tancredo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Dominic came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Lepra FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Tancredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Leonardo Tancredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.
