After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Zachariasz Polakowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Zachariasz Polakowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute Lech Kojder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Loncki in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Srebrny Grom DK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Florian Loncki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Srebrny Grom DK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miroslaw Setara quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Gisbert in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Setara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Salvador Gisbert made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Srebrny Grom DK's Miroslaw Setara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachariasz Polakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Florian Loncki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zachariasz Polakowski took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jose Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Miroslaw Setara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Loncki, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Setara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Florian Loncki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Kojder came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Zima hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Srebrny Grom DK's goalkeeper Miroslaw Setara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 85th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Loncki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Srebrny Grom DK's Miroslaw Setara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Srebrny Grom DK from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Loncki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Srebrny Grom DK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Slawomir Bubczyk hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Srebrny Grom DK.
