Dagoberto Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. If Ademar Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. If Ian Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovanni Custódio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Dagoberto Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalie and right to Luca Rouco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Dagoberto Veiga in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dagoberto Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Custódio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ian Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Giovanni Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Giovanni Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
