After 20 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. 24 minutes into the game, Andreas Mossberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Manuel Facuse in the 51st minute. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Caldeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Manuel Facuse. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. After having played for 73 minutes, Carlos Caldeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Calle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Caldeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Calle's Carlos Caldeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-7 after 78 minutes of play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Wennersten in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Calle's Carlos Caldeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-8 after 87 minutes of play. El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by João Vítor Novaes, made in the 91st minute of the game. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them.
