Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Feliberto Frederico was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Jedi Knights's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Jedi Knights booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Bento in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Joel Bento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Joel Bento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Bento in the 19th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jedi Knights the free kick. In the 20th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Jedi Knights's Joel Bento. But to his dismay, Joel Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jedi Knights's Feliberto Frederico. But to his dismay, Feliberto Frederico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 28th minute, Jedi Knights's Feliberto Frederico ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. David Abeijon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Jedi Knights's Isaac Iban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Joel Bento arrived in front of goal to shoot 6-0 by the left pole in the game's 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Isaac Iban made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Feliberto Frederico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Jedi Knights's Isaac Iban. But to his dismay, Isaac Iban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Iban in the 57th minute of play. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a Jedi Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bento came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bento came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jedi Knights's Baldomiro Tolino got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute, Feliberto Frederico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 86th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Joel Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. David Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bento came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jedi Knights had played much better football throughout.
