GMG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. GMG's Niceto Foro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonio Indiano in the 15 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Voina in the 16th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, GMG's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Teofilo Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Sarmiento who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Teofilo Claude when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Mihai Voina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Foro came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GMG's Teofilo Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 46th minute of play. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GMG were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihai Voina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Voina. In the 55th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, GMG's Niceto Foro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match GMG got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Valentine ran over to the corner to take the kick. GMG's Jacinto Valentine was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in GMG's zone, Orlando Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Claude came out of the goal and Orlando Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mihai Voina sent off a good shot on target. GMG's Teofilo Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 72nd minute of play. Teofilo Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Valentine was slow to take the kick. During this time GMG's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jacinto Valentine almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. 82 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Teofilo Claude was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teofilo Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Mihai Voina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Claude saved GMG from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Colombia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GMG for a fine match.
