In the 14thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 17th minute of the match. Camilo Gisbert made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Isaias Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xinto Carreiras's shot from short distance in the 88th minute.
