Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Beşir Şahdar came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Beşir Şahdar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to El Turco getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Beşir Şahdar hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turgay Habiboğlu saved El Turco from getting behind. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when El Turco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. May Kropotov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Alan Van Beets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turgay Habiboğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beşir Şahdar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dmitriy Bumagin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beşir Şahdar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beşir Şahdar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. May Kropotov hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Nunez Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Turgay Habiboğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Van Beets in the 72nd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beşir Şahdar in the 73rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Turgay Habiboğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Mendonça's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Turco's May Kropotov got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute of the match El Turco got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beşir Şahdar ran over to the corner to take the kick. El Turco's Dmitriy Bumagin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nunez Suarez scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Van Beets came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beşir Şahdar who took care of the corner kick. Nunez Suarez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 95th minute, Beşir Şahdar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Turco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
