An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 19th minute of play forced GMG's goalkeeper Teofilo Claude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Joshua Garrido in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GMG's Xande Havertz. Xande Havertz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them.
