Iron Maiden Football OFF's Dagoberto Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Davies in the 10th minute of play. Dagoberto Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Maurinho Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Maurinho Neves made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gilberto de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dagoberto Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Davies's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 42 minutes, Kyle Davies made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Iron Maiden Football OFF's Dagoberto Vander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dagoberto Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurinho Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Troy Kennedy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Curacao booed when Iron Maiden Football OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Vergílio in the 60th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Stanley Wallace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Neves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 72nd playminute. The audience was convinced that Stanley Wallace's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Vander was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
